February 21, 2018: The Marion County Supervisor of Elections will host two Election Worker Orientation sessions on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 1:30 PM and 6:00 PM at the Marion County Election Center for new and potential Election Workers interested in working the 2018 Elections.

Election workers are an integral part of the elections process. An Election Worker is a front-line representation of the Supervisor of Elections office who is trained and compensated to work an assigned voting location on Election Day and during Early Voting to help voters exercise their right to vote. Our office is continuously recruiting and in need of Election Workers. Prospective workers must be a registered voter in Marion County and can apply online atVoteMarion.com.

Learn if becoming an Election Worker is right for you and receive an overview of the elections process in Marion County, demonstration of voting equipment, and a guided tour of the Election Center facility. The session will be instructed by the Marion County Supervisor of Elections, Wesley Wilcox, CERA and will be approximately an hour long. The material will cover Election Worker requirements, training, pay, positions and responsibilities, and frequently asked questions. Individuals will not be compensated for attending orientation class.
