The Marion County Supervisor of Elections is dedicated to providing year-round nonpartisan voter education and community outreach services to Marion County citizens of all ages.

Voter Registration Drives

Representatives from the Marion County Election Center are available to conduct a voter registration drive/information booth to assist citizens with the following:

  • Pre-Register/Register to vote
  • Look up a voter registration status
  • Make updates/changes to voter registration record
  • Request vote-by-mail
  • Supply voter guides and election information
  • Provide answers to voting/election related questions

Speaking Engagements/Classroom Presentations

Invite Supervisor of Elections, Wesley Wilcox, to speak at your club, organization, or school. Topics can be customized or chosen from the following:

Tour the Election Center

Receive a behind the scenes guided tour of the Election Center’s Operation Center or departments to obtain a better understanding of the duties/responsibilities performed by the Supervisor of Elections office and learn about the voting equipment and how elections are conducted in Marion County.

Equipment Demonstrations

Receive a demonstration on the different types of voting equipment and systems used in Marion County and have the opportunity to get hands-on training on how they operate.

Mock Elections

Conduct a mock election using actual voting equipment from the Supervisor of Elections. Ballots can be customized for a specified election and audience. 

School Elections

School elections can be conducted using actual voting equipment from the Supervisor of Elections, or online voting offered through DoubleClick Democracy.

Annual High School Voter Registration Drive Challenge

The Annual High School Voter Registration Drive Challenge opportunity is available to all High Schools in Marion County. Representatives from the Supervisor of Elections office visits each school to pre-register and register eligible students 16 years of age and older. 

Supervised Voting (F.S. 101.655)

During the election season, upon request, election officials from the Marion County Election Center provide supervised voting for absent electors residing in any assisted living facility or nursing home facility in Marion County. Please contact our office for the deadlines to request supervised voting.
